Daniel Swarovski found a place in the Austrian Alps (Wattens), where he established his company in 1895. His invention (a crystal cutting machine that could mould crystals perfectly), was registered three years before he started his work in Tyrol, where he found enough water-supply for his machines. Swarovski nowadays is one of the worlds leading companies. Its crystal figurines and jewelleries are demanded in different corners of the globe.
